After many recommendations from friend’s I finally went to try pappa sven’s swedish restaurant and my god I was not disapointed from the moment you walk in it feels like you have been transported to sweden.

Having not eaten at a swedish restaurant before I was dubius to say the least to start you get the choice of a range of foods in the buffet we had a selection of different salads and a healthy portion of the yellow split pea soup which is apparently tradional to eat on thursdays in sweden.

For the main I chose Kalpudding (a sort of beef and cabbage meatloaf) with meatball sauce beans and lingenberrys on the side.

For desert you again get the choice of a buffet the star of the deserts was the homemade snickers (chocolate cornflakes and penut butter)

Final Thoughts:

Every course was superb and I would probrably say this has now become my new favourite restaurant and if you catch the menu del dia on the weekdays it’s a bargain.
